Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagaon, established in 1979 is located on the bank of the river Kolang (Difalu). Hardly three kilometers away from the District Headquarter, the Vidyalaya serves a serene atmosphere for achieving the great missions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi. Presently accommodating1598 budding talents as on 15.11.2022 and 56 faculty members, the School functions from classes 1 to XII, each having three divisions, with Science and Commerce at +2 level. As one of the best centres of learning, we pursue to acquire excellence in academics and to inject scientific temperament to the life-blood of our pupils. We wish to turn our lantern to give precedence to the mathematization of the school arena. The Vidyalaya strives to relish a plunge of humanism and benevolence among the senior wards towards the juniors. Besides, we endeavor to inculcate a true sense of self-discipline among the students by imbibing values from our opulent cultural heritage.

This centre of excellence has a sturdy past in the sense that it has contrived multifarious personalities including Administrators, Technocrats, Engineers, Doctors, Teachers and Educationists. We pray that these, with innumerable other achievements will inspire our young minds vicariously to explore the hitherto unconquered vistas of human thought in ages to come.
